¿Qué es la Copa Mundial? – From the Who is…. series comes this book in Spanish explaining the history of the World Cup and it’s notable events. More suitable for an upper level classroom, students with background knowledge of soccer may be able to tolerate more noise (words they don’t understand) and may have better comprehension.
This book specifically written for language students by teacher Jennifer Degenhardt, El Mundial, may be a perfect novel to add to your library or use as a teacher-led readaloud during or leading up to the World Cup. Described by the author as a Level 1+ book, it features 4894 total words, around 265 unique words, and 146 cognates.
